This is a french roast that is packed with sweetness and a nice acidic backbone. A fine choice for those who prefer a darker roast profile and a pleasant surprise for those of us who tend to drink lighter coffees.

The coffee comes from old growth forests where coffee is truly native. Each farm has a few "mother" plants that provide the genetics best-suited for the micro climate, which are far cooler than deforested areas.

This project is gaining momentum and the attention to detail paid by the farmers and processors will lead to continued improvements. We think they are off to a fantastic start.
